Exploring the Indiana State Fair.

It wasn’t just the food and Monster Trucks that made the Indiana State Fair an interesting day. Oh no! there was much more entertaining things such as the animals, hats and police items.

We saw many cute (and not so cute ) animals:

There was a Cow wash

A Sheep wash and dye.

The cutest ‘Dog like’ Alpacas.

I just wanted to take one home! You could easily get away with saying it was a dog! Almost.

The ‘World’s largest Hog’

As well as some cuter, but still smelly, versions.

The biggest horse I have ever seen (including a huge cowboy with a dubiously looking broken arm. Maybe he fell off the horse?)

You could also buy different products.

There was a huge farm-themed parade.

Including a live country band.

There was different interactive things to take part in, as well as various statutes to befriend.

And lots of Police and we managed to gain some police rulers, which helped the group stick together until the end, nearly.

There was also some very relevant sayings that everyone should adhere to.

  1. Really enjoying your blog! I am from Indiana and was abroad for a full year last year (in Spain) so I like hearing about what other expats think of my home. Glad you seem to be enjoying yourself!

The state fair is indeed a great place to gain, oh, 10 pounds…!

    • Hi Kaley,

Thank you so much for you comments. Did you enjoy Spain? I had a nosey at your blog and loved the article about London. How refreshing to see it from a non-British perspective.

The fair was fun and definitely a place for gaining a few pounds 🙂 . The atmosphere was great, but I find that everywhere in Indiana. I love living here and your very lucky to be from here!

      Thanks again

      Lucy
